LG’s Optimus Vu and Vu II were released as alternatives to Samsung’s Galaxy Note – and things aren’t different when it comes to the new Optimus Vu 3.
Expected to be officially announced before the end of this month, the Optimus Vu 3 will be significantly cheaper than the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. At least that’s what Korean publication ET News is saying.
Reportedly, the Vu 3 will cost around 800,000 KRW ($740) in South Korea, while the Galaxy Note 3 is priced at 1,000,000 KRW ($924).
Feature-wise, the new Optimus Vu 3 should bring a 5.2 inch display with 1280 x 960 pixels (4:3 aspect ratio), a special stylus, LTE-Advanced connectivity, quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, 13MP rear camera, and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.
Unfortunately, there are no images to show the Optimus Vu 3 at the moment. But the new handset will probably not look too different from the Vu II (pictured above).
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will be released in Korea (and other markets) starting September 25. It remains to be seen if LG manages to announce the Vu 3 before that day.
