LG is reportedly getting ready to launch all of its latest Android smartphones in India, the world’s second largest mobile market.
Apparently, the first among the new handsets will be the Optimus 4X HD (pictured below), which should arrive in India sometime in May – one month earlier than in the UK. Resembling HTC’s One X in many aspects (at least feature-wise), the Optimus 4X HD comes with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, a quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor, a 4.7 inch HD display, and an 8MP rear camera.
The LG Optimus Vu (with its 5 inch, 1024 x 768 pixels display), the Optimus 3D Max, Optimus L7, Optimus L5, and Optimus L3 will also be introduced in India at some point. LG is planning to launch no less than 12 new Android handsets in the country before the end of 2012.
