LG‘s upcoming smartphone i.e. the LG V30 is expected to be launched at IFA 2017 in Berlin by the end of August. We already had a fair bit of info about this smartphone, and what to expect from it, however, we now have new reports which give us some more info on what to expect from this smartphone when it launches later this year. According to the new reports which we have, it looks like the LG V30 will have wireless charging capability.
If this rumor is something to be believed, then it means that the LG V30 will also have a glass back. Now, this is going to be a major leap in terms of the build quality since both the LG V10 and the V20 had a polycarbonate body. However, since LG G6, the flagship smartphone from them also has a glass body, the company could be looking to unify the design here, after all, both the lineup of smartphones are flagships for them. In fact, even Samsung has been doing the same when it comes to the design of the Galaxy S lineup as well as the Note lineup. Both of them have glass bodies now.
The fingerprint scanner is also expected to be found in the same place i.e. the back of the smartphone. As far as the specs of this smartphone are concerned, we don’t have a lot to report at this point. However, we do know that the V30 will also carry the dual camera setup just like the last year’s variant. Now we just need to see if the implementation remains the same. Apart from that, the LG V30 is also expected to sport a bezel-less display extending all the way from top to bottom. This is not something which we can confirm as of now; however, it is a highly anticipated feature which will give the company an edge over the competitions. Stay tuned for more info on this.
