Last month, an LG V510 tablet has appeared on the Web alongside the rumor that it would become Google’s next-generation Nexus 10. But now it looks like the V510 is, in fact, similar to the LG G Pad 8.3 (model number V500).
A Service Manual for the LG V510 has surfaced in China, showing that the tablet features an 8.3 inch display with 1920 x 1200 pixels, a 5MP rear camera, 1.3MP front-facing camera, 2GB of RAM, and a 4,600 mAh battery – all in a case measuring 216.8 x 126.5 x 8.3 mm (just like the G Pad).
Thus, if this will be sold as a Nexus tablet, it could be a Nexus 8, but certainly not a Nexus 10. We do have to note, however, that the Nexus brand doesn’t seem to be mentioned anywhere in the Service Manual of the V510. So perhaps what we’re having here is just a regional version of the G Pad 8.3? We’ll hopefully find out soon.
