LG Vu 3 to be cheaper than Samsung Galaxy Note 3

As LG is gearing towards launching the third device in the Optimus Vu series, we’re hearing that the upcoming model — although powerful — will be considerable cheaper than its (in)direct competitor, Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Reportedly, the Vu 3 will cost around 800,000 KRW ($740) in South Korea, while Sammy’s phablet is priced at 1,000,000 KRW ($924).
Then again, we must add that these two are a bit different devices with the Vu series rocking a display with 4:3 aspect ratio, and the Vu 3 will apparently have a 5.2-inch 1280×960 pixels screen. Rest of the specs are rumored to include Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 800 quad-core chip, LTE-Advanced connectivity support (at least in Korea), 13-megapixel camera on the back, while Android 4.3 Jelly Bean will run the show right from the get-go. As for the launch date, it is said that LG will officially announced the Vu 3 by the end of this month.
