LG India launched its latest smartphone in the X series called X Screen. It was first unveiled at the MWC 2016 held in February this year and was already launched in few other markets. It looks more like a lite variant of LG V10 with its always-on secondary display. The device is priced at Rs. 12,990 and will be on sale starting from July 20th exclusively via Snapdeal. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based latest LG UX UI on top.
It comes with 4.93-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) In-cell display and also a 1.76-inch LCD secondary display with a resolution of 520 x 80 pixels. The Always-On display shows the notifications, frequently used apps, date, time, battery status and other in-app options. Under the hood is the quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage. It has a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP selfie camera on the front.
The device is kept powered by a 2,300mAh battery which is slightly smaller than that of 2,520mAh battery on X Cam. It includes 4G LTE along with other basic connectivity options. The device comes in the colors – White, Black and Pink Gold. The second screen is there to show all the notifications as well as give you access to default music player while the main screen is turned off.
