As the Tokyo Game Show kicks off here in Japan, Sony will be leading off the proceedings with a keynote presentation entitled "Life With PlayStation 4" at 10:30am local time on Thursday, September 19. (That's 6:30pm Wednesday night on the US West Coast; click here for the start time in your neck of the woods).
Sony President and Group CEO Andrew House, President of SCE Worldwide Studios Shuhei Yoshida, and Division President Masayasu Ito are scheduled to provide "detailed specification of this latest system and its exclusive software titles and the new gaming experience that can be realized with the Playstation 4 platform," according to Sony Computer Entertainment Japan.
This will be Sony's last high-profile chance to pitch the PlayStation 4 value proposition at a major conference before the system comes out in North America this November. It will also be a chance to tailor a message directly to the Japanese consumers that won't be getting the system until next February (though they will be getting the PlayStation Vita TV microconsole in the meantime).
