Despite all the minor issues OnePlus ran into with the One and its launch, their device remains one of the best bang for buck devices on the market. It offers top end specs, a low price tag, and great software. Speaking of software, it appears that Lollipop will soon be hitting OnePlus Ones!
In a recent interview with Android Central, CyanogenMod founder Steve Kondik stated that Lollipop for the OnePlus One is indeed on the way. According to Kondik, the CyanogenMod version of Lollipop is expected to hit sometime next month! No exact date was specified but it’s exciting news nonetheless.
On the down side, Kondik did state that the future partnership between themselves and OnePlus is a bit of a question mark due to some current legal issues between CyaongenMod, OnePlus, and MicroMax. But despite how that all plays out he does affirm that “we’re still behind [OnePlus] for this device.”
