YPlan, the mobile application geared towards helping you figure out where to go every night, has launched its iPad app. Seeking to capitalize on the fact that there are 5.3 million device owners in the UK, the company hopes this release will help grow its user base and “bring its spontaneous events experience to more Londoners.”
Company co-founder and CTO Victoras Jucikas tells us: “I’m really excited about our iPad launch. We’ve already got a strong core of iPhone users, so building an iPad version was the obvious next step.”
Launched back in 2012, the service provides a list of events happening in the city and helps you purchase tickets right from your device. It’s only available in London, but is expected to expand its offering across the Atlantic to New York City soon. However, it will need to deal with competitors like Sosh and WillCall.
