SEOUL, South Korea - Samsung itself decided to take apart its Galaxy Note smartphone/tablet, and showed off how all the components fit inside the extremely thin case.
The Galaxy Note is in particular famous for the stylus pen. This S Pen allows users to write and input as if a regular pen.
The other feature which is distinctive feature of the this smartphone is the large 5.3-inch HD OCTA touchscreen display.
Inside the pack, it carries a digitizer shield plate that senses the S Pen-tip location and amount of pressure, and blocks any noise and magnetism.
The bracket holds all of the components of the device efficiently in the main PCB, which supports thousands of different parts.
This front side of the PCB is comprised of an acceleration sensor that detects the turning motion of the note, a gyro sensor that identifies up, down and sideways motion, a proximity sensor that recognizes a detectable object as it close in on the phone,, a light sensor to adjust screen brightness, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, an NFC for near-distance communication, a WACOM IC that produces S Pen's movement and use, a GPS and a 2MP front facing camera.
The back side of the PCB embodies an internal memory storage of 16 or 32 GB, an LTE modem chip 4G with a dual core 1.4GHZ processor and an 8MP back facing camera.
The rear case covers a number of antennae and wires and packs the battery.
