Due to our blessed Britishness, we at Life Of Android usually steer clear of American football with two key exceptions: the Super Bowl and Madden games. Madden NFL 12 for Android sadly doesn’t contain a half-time Bruce Springsteen show but for what it lacks in the Boss, it makes up in bone-crunching tackles.
Designed specifically for Android handsets, Madden NFL 12 stars an impressive array of 32 NFL teams which you can pitch against each other in Season Mode, Exhibition Mode or by reliving the 2010/2011 playoffs. When playing the app, users can draw up hot routes for defence, running and passing, these can also be saved for later use in explaining the rules of this strange game to your mates.
We’re also told players can slow down the clock and make “the play” on both sides of the ball with the impressively titled Action Control Time and Total Defensive Control. We’re guessing these have something to do with controlling your players and/or the ball.
Madden NFL 12 is available to download now from the Android Market for a pricey £4.26.
