For the longest time, I have been envious of iOS getting the Magic The Gathering cards game, wishing that it would eventually reach Android devices so that I could rekindle my childhood glee playing Magic cards. Well, today that wait is over. Magic 2014 Duels of the Planeswalkers is out today on PSN, iOS and most importantly, Android tablets (note: you can install it on other Android devices but it is advised that the game was made for tablets).
The core game includes:
3 decks, each with 5 unlockable cards
Single-player campaign across the plane of Shandalar
One Planeswalker duel
Sealed Play mode; explore a deckbuilding experience
And purchasing the premium package will unlock even further material. The core game is out now on Google Play for free it appears, but we’ve yet to confirm the price of the additional premium features.
Are there any Magic cards fans out there excited by this? Let us know if you pick it up and have a go.
