In our opinion, there are two only two upcoming phones that really have us excited. One being the HTC One, which we will all see and know everything about tomorrow. Then there is the Samsung Galaxy S IV. We know Samsung will be hosting their own standalone show to unveiling the next new Galaxy Device, but we are still waiting to know when. It certainly won’t be at Mobile World Congress, that much is guaranteed.
On February 6th an insider claimed that Samsung would be making an official announcement and holding their usual flare of a press event on March 15th. Another date has now been sent out to the masses stating March 14th as the date to look forward too. This one coming in from Eldar Murtazin (@eldarmurtazin). More often than not, he is usually correct on the things he pushes out. The date is only one day different from the previous tip. With no official confirmation or press invites send out by Samsung, there is always the possibility of slight altercation in timing. However, even with out official word, we are pretty certain that Samsung is planning to make their announcement mid March.
One thing is certain though, the next 30 days are going to be jam-packed full of Android goodness. Which device are you more excited to see, the HTC One or the Samsung Galaxy S IV? Maybe you have given up on OEM specific devices and holding out for Google I/O to see what the next Nexus device is going to be all about.
