MixBit, a new video stitching app by the founders of YouTube, lets you record and create videos from several different clips that can be as short as one second or as long as one hour. Similar apps such as Vine or Instagram limit videos to only a few seconds. For larger projects and more editing tools, MixBit takes video stitching to a new level.
The main staple feature of MixBit is primarily the additional options and tools you have for creating videos. All the videos you create will be lumped together in your projects library. After you publish them, they then show up in your videos section. You can instantly share them to Facebook or Twitter as well.
There's no need to register with MixBit unless you want to be able to edit and customize projects on other devices and from the computer. Since MixBit syncs to the cloud, any device you log in on will be able to pull all your projects, published videos, and standalone clips.
MixBit's main video gallery shows top featured videos. You can see at a glance how many clips are within that video by the clip count underneath the video as well as how many views and the total length.
For more creative video ideas and the ones that you can't really limit to just a few seconds, MixBit is an awesome alternative. And hey, you don't even have to register to use it if you don't want to.
