By far, the biggest change is the games pricing structure. Instead of costing $3.99, the game has now entered the all-to-familiar freemium territory.
According to Touch Arcade, users who download the free title will see an energy system that decreases after completing missions. In-app purchases can unlock unlimited energy and other benefits.
But Gameloft is taking care of gamers who previously purchased the game. Those users wont see an energy system and will receive Veteran status. Along with a special kill sign and camo, the developer is throwing in 200 free credits.
The exciting first-person shooter now offers support for a standard, form-fitting or extended controller.
Here are the rest of the changes in the update:
NEW CLASS REPORTING FOR DUTY! – The Support class gives your team the backup they need – Drop medical kits to heal allies – Let your teammates respawn on the spot they died – Boost your own abilities and efficiency on the battlefield
WEAPONS APLENTY – Extra weapon tier for each class – New Light Machine Gun category for Support class
ALL-NEW MULTIPLAYER MODE: ZONE CONTROL – Capture and defend areas to rack up score superiority
MORE CHARACTER CUSTOMIZATION – Weapon camos – New masks and skills – New solo and squad logos – New kill signs
