We’ve seen Nintendo do this with games for as long as I can remember. They take some of their better selling games (that’s normally the qualifier) that are a bit older and repackage them under a new banner and with a new price. Remember Player’s Choice back on the Gamecube? I do.
With the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS, the program is called Nintendo Selects, and each title within sells for $19.99. A few more games have been added to the roster, which you’ll see in the video above.
In my mind, the best picks of the bunch are Wind Waker, Animal Crossing, Tomodachi Life (if you want something both weird and amazing), Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon and the Wii U version of LEGO City Undercover.
$20 for Wind Waker is great, especially if you never played it.
