I have loved what Motorola has done over the last couple of years and the Moto X 2013 and 2014 remain some of my favourite devices to date. There have been, however, two nagging issues that have kept me from using these guys as my daily driver in the past: battery life and camera quality. Neither the battery life nor the camera quality has ever matched up well against the competition and as a result I have looked elsewhere for my flagship fix. Well it’s a new year and a new Moto X is on the way and according to Motorola’s CMO, they will at least be “bringing it” in the camera department.
The Tweets you see above were sent out by Motorola CMO Adrienne Hayes and as you can see, she is promising big things in the camera department. Not only should we expect better camera hardware but it looks like we’ll get better software with more advanced controls.
While this all sounds good, I’ll need to see it to believe it. If they can indeed deliver on both the battery and camera then the Moto X 2015 may just be my next daily driver.
