Good news for all you folks who pre-ordered the new Moto X on AT&T, gottabemobile is reporting that pre-orders have started shipping to people. Even better news for those of you who pre-ordered and paid for 2-day shipping, you should receive your shiny new Moto X tomorrow or Friday. Even if you pre-ordered through the MotoMaker website, your order should still already be on it’s way as well. A couple of weeks ago Motorola and AT&T opened up pre-order pages for people to order the 2014 Moto X. People who pre-ordered through AT&T received shipping dates of September 23rd and that’s exactly what seems to have happened. You could either pre-order through AT&T or through the MotoMaker website, no other carrier has offered the phone for pre-order yet. Although there have been many leaks and rumors saying that the new Moto X will be coming to Verizon as soon as the 26th of this month, just two days away.
Whats so significant about the Moto X already shipping from the MotoMaker website is the fact that Motorola told customers that those units would not be shipping for at least another couple of days. That means that a good majority of units are shipping two days ahead of schedule. There are even some customers online who are saying that their MotoMaker orders even shipped yesterday, three days ahead of schedule. As for Sprint customers, you guys are simply out of luck as the new Moto X will not be coming to Sprint. But those of you who purchase the unlocked “Pure Edition” Moto X, you will be able to use the phone on AT&T, T-Mobile, or any other GSM carriers network with no problems.
