Motorola has been slugging away at the FCC filings recently. Today, Motorola filed for the Droid 4 and the Xoom 2 Media Edition. The Droid 4 packs support for LTE along with CDMA / EVDO, GSM, EDGE, WCDMA, a 1,785mAh battery, and a full QWERTY keyboard slider by the looks of it.
Also spotted was the Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition. Interesting enough, this Xoom 2 featured support for AT&T-compatible (850 / 1900) GSM / WCDMA bands. We saw the Xyboard hit the FCC a couple of days ago sporting support for Verizon’s LTE bands.
Unfortunately, we don’t have any official pricing or availability info since these two devices have yet to be unveiled officially by Motorola or their respective carrier. We will keep you updated on the status of the Motorola Droid 4 and Xoom 2 Media Edition.
