In case you weren’t happy with the original Motorola DROID RAZR or the related DROID RAZR MAXX, Motorola is going to try one more time to please you with its rumored DROID Fighter. An image of the purported DROID Fighter recently leaked and the Android smartphone looks similar in terms of design to the DROID RAZR, but boasts a larger screen and loses the capacitive buttons on the front. Instead, it borrows a page from the Galaxy Nexus book and places on-screen keys. With this in mind, we are expecting the DROID Fighter to launch in April with Android Ice Cream Sandwich on board.
Besides the software difference, the other main difference between this DROID and the previous RAZR, is the former will feature a 4.6 inch HD screen, but the resolution is not yet known. In terms of battery, it is said to feature a whopping 3300 mAh battery, a feature that the DROID RAZR MAXX likes to boast.
Droid-Life makes the claim that the DROID Fighter is nothing more than a variant of the RAZR, and I am inclined to agree. While the specs and features found on the DROID Fighter are undoubtedly going to be high-end judging from its display, software, and battery, but seriously Moto, give us something new.
