While it is nice to have the option of owning the latest and greatest Android smartphones not everyone has the money or wants to spend so much on a mobile device. This is where mid-range handsets come in and luckily there is a growing range becoming available, and we are today looking at the Motorola Moto G vs. Sony Xperia M2 in a specification battle.
The Moto G was launched last year and has been well received by many while the Sony Xperia M2 was only recently announced by the company, but how do they compare spec wise?

The Sony meanwhile has an 8-megapixel rear camera also with autofocus and LED flash but is capable of 1080p video capture, but so far Sony has not provided exact details of the front camera.
The New Sony will ship running the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system while the Moto G has been treated to the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update over the last few weeks.
