Motorola is typically pretty big on deals with their products, as they just recently had a sale on the Moto X which ran through May 12th as part of the Mother’s Day promotion. Today Motorola is announcing a new deal for consumers who are looking to pick up a new device as well as a smartwatch. The deal includes the Moto G and the Moto 360 smartwatch, Motorola’s only Android Wear device at the moment and their only smartwatch at this time. The Moto G on the other hand, is one of a multiple phones that they offer, and Motorola’s answer to an affordable mid-range device. The Moto G is already set at a good price and now that Motorola is offering a deal, customers can save some money on the phone making it even more of a catch.
This particular promotion requires that customers pick up and bundle the purchase of the Moto G with the purchase of a Moto 360 smartwatch, so the savings only come through if you buy both devices. If that sounds like a deal you want to take advantage of then you’ll want to be quick about it as the sale also has a limited time attached to it. For the next few hours only, Motorola will be offering those who bundle the Moto G with a Moto 360 smartwatch the opportunity to save $129.99 on the total cost of the purchase.
Without the savings promotion in place, the Moto G is set at a price point of $179.99 whether you pick up the US 3G GSM or the global 3G GSM model. The Moto 360 by itself is now back to its regular cost of $249.99, making the total cost $429.99 if one should buy them on separate occasions. If by chance you are considering both however, the total cost of $429.99 comes down to $299.99 but only if you pick up the deal during this promotion which won’t be around all day. The time for the promotion started promptly at 9AM PT this morning, which gives you just a few minutes under three hours left to get in on the deal before it ends which will be at 1PM PT. That will be at 3PM CT and 4PM ET depending on which part of the country you’re in.
