Business and Magnifica Class passengers on mid as well as long-distance flights to Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Tel Aviv, Beyruth, Riyadh and Teheran will enjoy free access to a wide range of content including movies, music, online magazines and video games
Devices will also be stationed in 10 Alitalia lounges for travellers to catch up on the latest news and entertainment before they fly
A demo area will also be set up in the Alitalia flagship store in Rome providing handy tips on how passengers can get the most out of Motorola XOOM 2
A further 650 tablets will be provided to Alitalia’s crew, helping busy flight attendants to complete their daily activities whilst on the move. Using information passengers have previously added online into Alitalia’s customer program, the staff can check passenger details, seat and meal preferences. They will also be able to verify passenger lists and read internal manuals.
“With its cutting edge technology and host of entertainment features, Motorola XOOM 2 will be the perfect travel companion for Alitalia passengers,” said Maurizio Angelone, vice president and general manager, Mobile Devices, EMEA, Motorola Mobility. “We are proud to be Alitalia’s chosen partner in bringing this exciting innovation to their European customers.
