Strangely, the 2015 Moto E was missing from the list. Motorola obviously hasn’t explained why the device is missing from the compatibility list, but we’re hoping to get more clarification on that over the coming days. Strangely, Motorola has also left out the Verizon and AT&T models of the 2014 Moto X from the update list.
This is something that could severely damage the credibility of Motorola as the company is known for frequent software updates and the Moto E 2015 or the 2014 Moto X don’t particularly have incompatible hardware on board. It is possible that Motorola might have encountered some issues while testing the update for the Moto E, so it would be unfair of us to jump to conclusions at this point.
What do you make of this? Is Motorola neglecting its users too soon?
