SEOUL, South Korea – It was about time to see a successor of the LG Optimus 3D Thrill and the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next week is one of the best places to lay our hands on such a device.
After recent leaks and an official press release of LG it was made clear that such a phone will be seen at MWC, but there is still some thrill hiding behind the name of the new smartphome. While the rumors of the new 3D device were expecting it to be released under the name Optimus 3D Cube, scheduled to be released in Korea next month, the official press release of LG speaks of Optimus 3D Max.
One thing is certain: the two-named phone will be the new glass-free 3D flagship of LG and will be packed with 4.3-inch IPS display, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 5MP camera, 8GB Internal Storage, 1GB Memory and NFC connectivity. The Android 2.3 Gingerbread driven device will have also HSPA+ 21Mbps capability, HDMI connection and DNLA for wireless connection with TV or PC.
