A new Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich build for AT&T's Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket has leaked online and is now available for download
A new, updated Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream build for AT&T's Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket has leaked. The build has been around apparently since April 7 and contains near final keys, indicating some sort of release is possibly on the horizon.
The tweaked 4.0.3 ROM has all the look and feel of stock ICS, with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI . Reports over at the RootzWiki forum also indicate scrolling and the UI in general is smoother than the earlier leaked build. The camera is also working much better.
The leaked update appears to also add new on/off toggles to the mix. You'll also get the new Android 4.0 menus and updated system apps, though TouchWiz still seems to be going pretty strong.
For enthusiasts looking for some ICS goodness, this update will definitely be the cat's meow. To install the leak, head on over to RootzWiki for full instructions. An official release is probably coming soon.
