We already know that the BlackBerry Bold 9900 is going to be released in Canada by Virgin Mobile. Unsurprisingly, it looks like at least one more Canadian carrier will offer the new Bold – and that’s Telus. Even more, Telus will probably also get the unannounced BlackBerry Touch 9860.
A photo of both the 9900 and 9860 running on Telus’ network has recently appeared on Twitter, leading us to believe that it won’t be long until the carrier launches the two smartphones.
Although it’s still unannounced, the BlackBerry Touch 9860 (also referred to as Torch 9860) is not exactly a mystery to us. It runs the latest BlackBerry OS 7, and features a 3.7 inch WVGA touchscreen display, Wi-Fi, NFC, 5MP camera with 720p video recording, and a 1.2GHz processor.
A CDMA version of the 9860 (namely BlackBerry 9850) should be released in the US by Sprint. More details as we get them.
