The Apple Watch can even be used as a portable deejay system thanks to a new update to the popular Djay 2 app for the iPhone.
Developer Algoriddim has done a great job taking a number of handy features from the app to the watch. DJs can browse their iTunes library, cue and mix songs, and even control audio effects and loops from the watch.
With Match, powered by Spotify, youll be able to view other tracks that go well with what is playing to automatically create a seamless mix. The Automix mode on the watch will automatically mix favorite music from both iTunes and Spotify.

And for the next week, to celebrate the new addition, Algoriddim is making both Djay 2 for iPhone and Djay 2 for the iPad/iPad mini free. Both apps can be downloaded now on the App Store. There are a number of in-app purchases available in both titles.
Algoriddim has also released an update for the Mac OS X version of the software Djay Pro. Version 1.1. brings live video mixing, support for new professional DJ equipment, and more. It costs $49.99 and can be downloaded now from the Mac App Store.
