On October 23rd, firmware 4.30 will be available to download which will add trophy support from your Playstation Vita. As a Vita owner myself, I’m still baffled as to how this wasn’t added as soon as the Vita launched since the Vita can support Playstation 3 trophies, but… At least we’re getting it now, right? In any event, users will now be able to display their Playstation Vita trophies, but that’s not all.
The trophies will be moved to a different location on the XMB. Trophies will be accessed under the Playstation Network tab after the update is downloaded. You’re probably asking yourself, “Why? Wouldn’t that make it a bit cramped then?”, right? Well, no need to worry.
On top of this update, it also seems that Sony is putting an end to the Life with Playstation and Folding@Home applications. So, be on the lookout for this update, guys. As a Vita owner, I can say I’m certainly looking forward to this much welcomed update.
