The Galaxy S6 Edge still isn’t official, but you can already pre-order a case for the rumored smartphone. Popular accessory-maker Spigen shared an image of the new case this week, incidentally revealing the upcoming curved-display smartphone.
The image above pretty much matches up with what we’ve seen and heard already in earlier leaks. The Galaxy S6 Edge is expected to feature a curved display that wraps around both edges of the smartphone, with notifications, widgets and other shortcuts showing up along the sides. We also get a look at what could be the phone’s new lockscreen, which features a sleek and simple design with direct access to the camera app.
Samsung looks set to announce both the Galaxy S6 Edge and the new Galaxy S6 next week at Mobile World Congress, with an official event scheduled for March 1 in Barcelona. Both models are expected to pack metal frames, Quad HD displays, powerful specs, refined software and a handful of new features including an improved fingerprint reader and a new mobile payments app.
With Samsung’s big event less than a week away it won’t be much longer before we get an official look at the device, though for now you’ll have to make do with leaks like this one.
