As the days go by leading up to next week’s September 9th event, the part leaks for Apple’s next flagship handsets keep streaming in. The 5.5-inch model in particular has been getting a lot of attention lately, with multiple sources leaking photos of its casing and supposed components. Today’s offering, courtesy of Nowhereelse.fr, is another look at the shell of what the publication is calling the “iPhone Air.”
Apple is reportedly working on two models of the iPhone 6 for release this fall, both rumored to be getting the spotlight at a special event on September 9th. Both models are said to sport a larger screen than the iPhone 5s, shipping in both 4.7 and 5.5-inch sizes. The above 5.5-inch device is said to be shipping with a sapphire crystal display, while it’s reported that some of the smaller, 4.7-inch models will sport the same.
