A new image of the Galaxy Note 3 has surfaced, this time revealing the back. The back cover has been removed as we can clearly see the removable battery, the microSD card slot as well as the standard micro SIM card slot. There seems to be some sort of a plastic covering over the camera sensor though, which is a little odd. We’re guessing this is an early prototype used only for internal testing, so we might see an entirely different smartphone launching on the 4th of September.
Sadly, we can’t make out the battery capacity from the image, but it goes without saying that the Note 3 would come with a large battery to last longer durations, much like its predecessor. We should see a beefed up battery on board here to accommodate for the rumored Snapdragon 800/Exynos 5420 chipset and the 5.7 inch 1080p display. We can also see a boxy design being utilized here instead of the typical pebble shaped design from the Note II and the Galaxy S4. This is something which the previous Galaxy Note 3 leaks have suggested as well.
