We’ve seen leaks and rumors pertaining to the #Xiaomi #Mi5 over the past few days. Today we’re getting a better idea of what the handset could bring to the table, thanks to a leaked render. Strangely, this appears to be different from what we saw in leaks before, so make sure you take it with a pinch of salt. The render shows the bottom facing speakers of the device along with the USB Type-C port as well as a 2.5D curved glass.
As for the pricing, the 32GB storage/3GB RAM model will be reportedly priced at 1,999 CNY ($308), while the 64GB model with 4GB of RAM will cost 2,299 CNY ($354), suggesting that the company will stick to its tried and tested pricing model.
The Mi 5 is rumored to be packing a 5.2 inch Quad HD display, a 16-megapixel rear camera, a 13-megapixel front camera, 3/4GB of RAM, 32/64GB of internal storage (probably no card slot), the octa core Snapdragon 820 SoC and Android 6.0 Marshmallow perhaps with a newer version of its popular MIUI skin. There’s still a lot that we don’t know about the device, so we’ll reserve judgment until we get more information on the device.
