JOHANNESBURG, South Africa - A statement released by Apple this Monday on its website proclaimed that the New iPad will be available in South Africa from 27th of April, the Freedom Day.
The third-generation iPad will also be released in several other countries including India, Thailand, Latvia, Israel, Columbia, Estonia, Lithuania and Montenegro on the same day.
The US based company has also announced the new hot-selling iPad will be shipped to various other countries on 20th April. South Korea, Brunei, Malaysia, Cyprus, Croatia, Uruguay, Panama, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, El Salvador, Venezuela and St Maarten are among the countries where the tablet will be delivered on this day.
In accordance with the reports, the 4G LTE version of the device is not to be released in markets outside US and Canada. Nevertheless, it is supposed that 16GB, 32GB and 64GB Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi/3G variants will be available in South Africa, most probably. However, information regarding prices are not yet available.
