The Samsung Galaxy Tab S is expected to be announced on the 12th of June by Samsung. And while we wait eagerly for that NYC announcement to take place, a new leak has revealed the hardware specs of the upcoming new device. According to this leak emerging out of China, the tablet will come with a 8.4 inch 2560 x 1600 resolution AMOLED panel, a 1.9 GHz octa core Samsung SoC, Android 4.4.2 KitKat and 3GB of RAM. The tablet also has a camera on the back although its resolution is unknown at the moment.
The China bound variant of the tablet will be reportedly known as the SM-T705C, while the global models could be simply known as the SM-T705. The 10.5 inch variant of the tablet should also pack similar hardware and we don’t think it will be a lot different apart from the size.
There is roughly under two weeks to go for the company’s event, but we can expect leaks like these to drop more hints about the two devices in the days leading to the launch.
