AT&T on Friday announced that it will soon offer the LG G Vista, a mid-range smartphone with a large 5.7-inch display that also launched on Verizon recently. The device isn’t as powerful as the LG G3, but it has enough compelling specs and great price point to make it a phone worth considering.
The LG G Vista runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat and is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon processor clocked at 1.2GHz. It’s equipped with a massive 5.7-inch display with a 1280 x 720-pixel resolution (that’s 258ppi for those keeping track at home), a 3,200mAh battery, 8GB of storage that can be expanded with up to a 32GB microSD card — and you’ll need that because just 3.72GB is usable — 1.5GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel camera with the same laser AutoFocus introduced on the LG G3 and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera.
So what’s it going to set you back? Not much, really. You can pick up the LG G Vista on August 22 for $49.99 with a new two-year contract, for $14.80 a month with AT&T Next 18 or $17.75 a month with AT&T Next 12. Or, if contracts aren’t your thing, AT&T is also selling it unlocked for $354.99.
