Motorola’s new Moto X is expected to finally make its debut on Verizon this week. An internal document from Big Red indicates the device will touch down on Friday, September 26 — starting at $99.99 on a two-year contract.
The new Moto X is already available on AT&T in the U.S., and direct from Motorola off-contract. But if you’ve been waiting for it to land on Verizon, you should be rewarded for your patience very soon. An internal document obtained by Phandroid states that the device will be available in a variety of ready-made color options, and through Moto Maker, this coming Friday.
In addition to the black resin option, Verizon will be offering the white and bamboo Moto X for just $99.99 — $25 less than AT&T — for a limited time (until October 10) when customers take out a new two-year contract on Verizon Edge.
The same price applies to 16GB models customized through Moto Maker, while the 32GB model will cost $149.99. Of course, those prices rise a little if you add fancy leather backs, but as all the reviews have pointed out, they are well worth it.
Will you be picking up a new Moto X on Verizon on Friday?
