After seeing CrackBerry’s post on The Hunger Games books last week, I thought now is no better time for us to start expanding our scope by cracking into all things digital. The Used just dropped their 5th studio album and it’s one you won’t want to miss!
Vulnerable was released by independent label, Hopeless Records. You can download any or all the tracks off this release from multiple sources, most importantly BBM Music [via smartphones] or 7Digital Store via [BlackBerry PlayBook].
We spend so much energy worried about getting new apps, accessories & games on our Berry’s I figured now would be a perfect time to sink our teeth into all forms of digital content. I love music. Everyday I spend about a third of my day bumping whatever my latest addiction is through my headset. My anticipation for The Used latest album has had me on the edge of my seat.. Now it’s here and it’s LOUD!
If you’ve been a fan of their music in the past you’ll be right at home with the latest offering. I always liked the premise of The Used and how they formed. I too grew up in a low income home with a mom who worked hard for what little things we did have. The Used stays true to their sound. Often sub-categorized beneath rock genres, they continue the eerie screams and melodic choruses. Hard drums, triumphant beats and a gut full of tough love. Vulnerable got 3 listens out of me the first time around and only one song got the skip.
Tracks to check out – “I Come Alive”, “This Fire”, “Hands and Faces”, “Kiss It Goodbye”.
Individual tracks can be purchased for $1.29 on 7digital using the PlayBook here, full album for $8.99. BBM Music users can download the entire album FREE after purchasing BBM Music at $4.99 per month. Get more info about BBM Musichere.
