Microsoft is revamping its iOS and Android Xbox apps today. Both apps are no longer branded as "Xbox One SmartGlass," and are instead just simply "Xbox." The overhaul also brings new features and a visual look that's almost identical to the Windows 10 app for PCs, tablets, and phones.
The home part of the Xbox app is now the activity feed where you can find screenshots and game clips that have been shared by friends. Microsoft has also added game hubs for titles and a new media control / connect to Xbox interface. While access to friends, messages, and notifications has all been streamlined into the main interface (just like Windows 10), there are no signs of support for access to party chat or game streaming... yet.
