It is common knowledge by now that the LG Nexus 5 is launching this month. Some reports pinpointed an October 14 launch date for the smartphone, but there were no concrete details. Now it seems like the smartphone will be unveiled on October 30 instead, if a new report is to be believed. This report further claims that the ASUS made Nexus 10 could launch alongside the smartphone, which makes sense as well. We haven’t seen any invitations going live for this event yet, so there’s no way to make sure if this information is legit. But considering the time frame of the launch of the Nexus 4 last year, it’s safe to assume that Google will announce the Nexus 5 around the same time this year.
The new Nexus 5 is rumored to pack a 5 inch 1080p display panel, a groundbreaking MEMS camera with optical image stabilization, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset, 3GB of RAM, 16/32GB of storage variants and Android 4.4 KitKat. The smartphone is certainly one of the much awaited Android handsets of the year and it seems like Google and LG won’t disappoint.
