The Google Nexus 5 is almost nearing a launch with the amount of leaks increasing in number every day. And a new leak has revealed the benchmark scores of the Nexus 5 GPU, touting it as the second best gaming smartphone in the market only behind the Apple iPhone 5s. With a score of 14.27, the smartphone isn’t far behind the iPhone especially considering the price Google will be selling the smartphone for. Prior to this, it was well known that the Adreno 330 GPU on the Nexus 5 was quite a beast and we’re guessing it has a lot to do with the latest iteration of Android. Last month we saw the GFXBench results of the Nexus 5 leak out revealing decent benchmark results.
Benchmark leaks of the Nexus 5 have been relatively scarce, so we’ll take anything we get at this point of time. Google is expected to unveil the new smartphone later this week with availability commencing immediately after. An unboxing image of the Nexus 5 was leaked earlier today revealing nothing new, but this leak certainly gives us something to ponder over.
