Google has announced company’s newest Nexus devices alongside Android 5.0 Lollipop earlier this month. Nexus 6, Nexus 9 and Nexus Player all got announce by this tech giant. Nexus 6 is a huge and beastly device and in comparison to last year’s smartphone, this phablet is priced way higher but it also brings top of the line specifications, more on that later though. Nexus 6 just popped up on Indian retailer Flipkart and is listed as “coming soon”, we’re talking about a 32GB version of the phone here. It’s interesting that Nexus 6 popped up on Flipkart before Google Play in India got the chance to list it, could this mean that Flipkart will get the Nexus 6 exclusive maybe? I personally still believe Google will list the device in the Google Play Store as well and make it possible for Indian consumers to get their hands on the device that way as well. Nexus 6 was sold out in US within minutes after it was made available for pre-order, though we’re used to seeing that when it comes to Nexus devices. Anyhow, don’t expect Nexus 6 to go on sale in India soon, I believe that it will take some time until it is made available over there. Nexus 9 could launch in India much sooner though, mid-November is a safe guess I believe. The tablet will cost INR 28.900.
Motorola Nexus 6 is featuring a 5.9-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) AMOLED display along with 3GB of RAM for all your multitasking needs and 32 or 64GB of internal storage, depending on which model you get of course. On the back of this beastly phablet you’ll find a 13-megapixel shooter flanked by a dual-LED flash while there’s a 2-megapixel shooter up front. This handset is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 805 quad-core processor clocked at 2.7GHz which comes with an Adreno 420 GPU, Google decided to use a truly high-end processor this time around. The device also ships with Google’s latest Android 5.0 Lollipop offering, of course, and it packs a 3220mAh battery on the inside. The device measures 159.3 x 83 x 10.1mm while it weighs 184 grams. Let’s hear it, how many of you plan to get the Nexus 6?
