We’re expecting Google to announce their next Nexus tablet sometime next week but it looks like the new tablet may have just made a premature appearance. New-ish leakster @upleaks (who has been doing a pretty good job thus far) recently tweeted the above picture of a mystery HTC made tablet.
As you can see, the tablet looks very much like the current Nexus 7 with its large Nexus logo and matte black finish. Unlike the Nexus 7, this device sports a much more square footprint which makes sense as the Nexus 9 is rumoured to feature screen with a 4:3 aspect ratio. As for the other rumoured specs on the Nexus 9, the device is expected to sport a NVIDIA K1 Processor, 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
Despite the good track record @upleaks has so far, this should still be taken with a grain of salt. Thankfully, we shouldn’t have long to wait to see the real thing.
