Kid-friendly television channel Nickelodeon has just introduced a new subscription streaming video service for both the iPhone and iPad.
Available to download on the App Store next week on Thursday, March 5, Noggin will set you back $5.99 per month. But it will offer tons of ad-free video content designed for preschoolers to help them get ready for kindergarten.
There will be both short- and long-form content, and Nickelodeon promises that more will be added on a regular basis.
Some of the content at launch includes show like Allegra’s Window, Blue’s Clues, Blue’s Room, Franklin and Friends, Gullah Gullah Island, Little Bear, Miss Spider’s Sunny Patch Friends, Ni Hao, Kai-lan, Oswald, Pocoyo, Robot and Monster, and The Upside Down Show.
The service will exist alongside the popular Nick Jr. app. From that app, users can watch a number of other popular shows like Dora the Explorer for free and without ads. After authenticating your cable TV subscription, users can also watch additional episodes and view the Nick Jr. channel live directly from the app.
