According to recent benchmarks looking at mobile gaming performance, the Nokia Lumia 1520 is at the top. That’s interesting considering that the new Samsung Galaxy S5 has a slightly higher clocked quadcore CPU (Snapdragon 801 vs 800 in the 1520) indicating that performance improvements may have come from the software efficiencies in Windows Phone vs Android.
Of course, it’s not all about the numbers. It’s more about the actual performance and usability due to those numbers. But for those who care, the Nokia Lumia 1520 is up there with the best of them and in terms of gaming, right at the top.
