ESPOO, Finland – Microsoft Devices has announced an entry-level handset, the Nokia Lumia, 530 in single and dual SIM variants, costing €85 or $115, to go on sale this month.
The Nokia Lumia 530 hosts a 4” LCD display with 854×480 pixel resolution. The handset is powered with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 chipset with 1.2GHz Cortex A7 CPU and offers an Adreno 302 GPU for graphics. Its memory options include 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot for expandable memory. The Lumia 530 runs the latest Windows Phone 8.1 and comes pre-loaded with Nokia Drive+ for navigation.
The handset comes loaded with a fixed-focus 5MP primary camera which can record videos with 854×480 pixel resolution. The battery capacity of the smartphone is 1430mAh.
In addition to the phone, the company has also announced the Bang mini rechargeable compact speakers from Coloud for a price of €19.
