Nokia Australia recently released a series of 4 videos on YouTube showing people how to set up their new Nokia N9 devices, so with out further adieu here they are:
Part 1: Setting up your new Nokia N9 takes a few simple steps. This quick demo gives you an introduction to your Nokia N9, accessories and how to get started. See how to easily adjust the date and time, set up your contacts via Bluetooth or PC and add the accounts you want.
Part 2: The N9 is designed around the things you do most: use apps, socialise and multitask. The first home screen is for accessing your apps. The second is for social networking, calling, texting and calendar reminders. The third screen shows which apps are open. This quick demo shows you how to navigate between screens with a simple swipe, and tap to the content you want. Learn how to set up shortcuts to your favourite apps, personalise your application menu and more.
Part 3: N9 features a fast mobile web browser, so pages load on your screen in no time. Learn how to launch the browser. Search and zoom to the content you want. Add apps from the web directly to your application screen. Set up the data counter to keep an eye on your limit. Turn your phone into a wireless modem, and connect wi-fi enabled devices.
Part 4: One of the many great features is the in-built GPS. Maps for Australia and New Zealand (other regions will have the relevant maps pre-installed) come pre-loaded and maps for more than 78 countries can be downloaded over wi-fi at no additional cost. Want a 360 degree view? Simply use a full-finger rotation to see landmarks in 3D. And if you’re into tunes, there are over 16 million tracks available from the Nokia music store. See how to turn on NFC and connect multiple NFC devices to play multi-player games, and transfer music straight to the Nokia 360 speakers – just by double-tapping.
