It’s been a few days since the Galaxy S8 went on sale, and the consensus is that it’s the future of mobile. But even for all the glowing feedback, there are a few areas that the S8 falls short, and a new Note 8 concept fixes those drawbacks to create the perfect phone.
DSB Designing rendered a new Samsung Note 8 concept that looks like the smartphone of our dreams. It continues to expand on everything that works for the S8 but takes it up a notch. It now features a 6.4-inch QHD+ Infinity Display, 16MP dual-camera set up, 13MP front-facing camera, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage with MicroSD expandability and a 4,000mAh battery. It also comes with the beloved stylus the Note line is famous for.
But the most noticeable improvement is the new placement of the fingerprint scanner. Instead of being annoyingly right next to the camera, it is now underneath the camera in a more central location that’s easier to reach. It’s where the S8’s fingerprint scanner should have been, but for some inexplicable reason it wasn’t.
Sweet Note 8 concept, but it has one glaring mistake
The concept from DSB Designing is definitely impressive, but it does have one glaring mistake—it brings back the Samsung logo to the front of the device. Not even the S8 has the stamp. Sorry, but this is not a move we condone, even if it is just a concept.
