The refurbished version of the Galaxy Note 7, the Note FE (Fan Edition) was announced last week. Also, the company released this device in South Korea right after the announcement. Besides that, the company now has plans to make a global launch by the end of this month.
Following the latest report from South Korea, Samsung have confirmed that they will sell specific number of Galaxy Note FE devices in the country. More precisely, no more than 400 000 units of the Galaxy Note FE devices will be selling in South Korea.
Other reports also suggesting that Samsung might launch the Galaxy Note FE worldwide later this month. What we know for sure, is that the device will not be available in the United States. This statement was confirmed by Samsung already.
The only big major change in the Galaxy Note FE is the battery itself of course. It’s not of a big surprise considered that the Note 7 caused huge loss to the company because of the batter. Just because that cause, the company decided to import a smaller battery into the refurbished version. The battery power of the Note FE is 3200 mAh, compared to the 3500 mAh battery power of the Galaxy Note 7.
Overall, the device is the same as the Note 7, but it is 20 percent cheaper than the original handset. The price for this device in South Korea today is around $608.
