While there have been numerous negative reviews for Number Link Pro (and that’s why its overall average star rating is low), most of those reviews are from people who haven’t actually used the app and are basing their 1-star review entirely on results they got from using an adware scanner app. Those scanner apps frequently give false positives, so negative reviews based solely on what a scanner app says aren’t necessarily trustworthy.
I played Number Link Pro myself and didn’t see a single ad or experience any suspicious behavior from the app. Also, while the app includes certain permissions for using its social features, like connecting to Facebook, the user is not required to use the social features at all and the app runs just fine with WiFi turned completely off.
I think anyone who enjoys the type of puzzles where you must plan your moves in advance would enjoy this one a lot. In some ways, it’s very similar to the Trainyard app, where the object is to get all the trains to their respective endpoints without crashing them into one another.
